Discovery Phase

​

This is a short phase where the outcome is to understand the scope, requirements and any restraints. The objective is to understand the desired outcome and asses the current position.

Design Phase

​

This phase includes conducting feasibility studies, reviewing the market, and designing high level use cases of the value proposition. Emphasis during this phase is to design the high level specifications of the new business or service. 

Development Phase

​

Development is split into multiple outputs and versions of the value proposition, business model and Go To Market strategy. External ecosystem participants may be included to refine the plan.

Implementation Phase

​

This phase is also known as the Proof of Concept (POC). This involves launching the service or new business in the market and key success measures are set to review the POC at the end of a set time. Governance protocols and processes are also developed and implemented at this phase.
