Carmen has nine years of work experience in the banking and telecommunications industries. Her previous roles include Head of New Business Development at Standard Bank Group and Senior Manager, Business Manager at MTN South Africa.

As a qualified CA (SA), Carmen decided to start The Root Specialist in 2022 to focus on helping businesses operating in South Africa find growth and develop their services. These businesses often face unique challenges in terms of funding, growth and development and this is her passion.
